Enforcement & Collections
and how we can help with that
What are Enforcement & Collections?
Having an order and enforcing it are often two separate battles that are fought between landlords and tenants. Sometimes trying to enforce an order can cost as much time and energy as obtaining the order in the first place.
Although this problem tends to be one-sided, with a landlord usually trying to recover monetary orders from a tenant that can no longer be located, there are ways to protect yourself from the start or during the tenancy.
How we can help
There are many ways to enforce an order and there is no set way to accomplish that. For us, success is measured by getting you the best resolution in the quickest possible way with the least amount of costs to you.
Although a large part of our practice involves enforcing Residential Tenancy Branch orders, we regularly assist other businesses and professionals with their enforcement and collections needs, both in Provincial Court as well as Supreme Court.
